Southern California-based Stone Brewing Co. recently finished work on a 312-kilowatt SANYO HIT solar system, and on July 1st began generating its own power. The system, installed by Borrego Solar of San Diego, will provide about 40% of the factory’s electricity and will save the company over $8,000 in monthly energy costs. There was no initial cost, thanks to the California state rebate, Federal tax credits and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) program supported by Bank of America.
“Environmental awareness and sustainability have been part of our corporate mission since day one,” noted Greg Koch, CEO of Stone Brewing Co., in discussing the new SANYO HIT installation. “SANYO’s state-of-the-art solar technology and reliability mesh perfectly with our business strategy and social responsibility to create this beautiful yet environmentally-friendly, cost-efficient facility.”
Established in 1996, Stone Brewing Co., is one of the fastest growing breweries in the country. The company’s newly opened restaurant, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Garden, located just next door to the brewery facility, offers locally grown organic fruits and vegetables. Stone’s stylish new facility utilizes recycled materials, such as used wooden floors and bar counter, as well as bricks once used in the walls of a prominent hotel in downtown San Diego. The gargoyle imagery, visible everywhere from the walls to the menus, symbolizes Stone Brewing’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Gargoyles have been used for centuries in European architecture, such as the Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, to symbolize strength, style and purity.
SANYO and Stone Brewing may have different business models, but they share the same core philosophy of being responsible stewards of the living earth, or GAIA. “It is very encouraging that one of San Diego’s most respected companies is using SANYO’s solar technology,” commented Akihiko Oiwa, a director of SANYO North America Corporation’s Corporate Communications department. “We hope to see more corporations taking advantage of these attractive PPA incentives to utilize clean and reusable energy”.

Solar Ark
Large-Scale Solar Power Generation Facility "Solar Ark"

The design of the Solar Ark was inspired by the vision of an ark embarking onto a journey toward the 21st Century. Only four columns are used to support the entire structure, thus giving the impression of floating in the air.

HIT Power
HIT® Power solar panels are leaders in sunlight conversion efficiency. Obtain
maximum power within a fixed amount of space. Save money using fewer system
attachments and racking materials, and reduce costs by spending less time installing
per watt.
Power Guarantee
SANYO’s power ratings for HIT Power panels guarantee customers receive 100%
of the nameplate rated power (or more) at the time of purchase, enabling owners
to generate more kWh per rated watt, quicken investment returns, and help realize
complete customer satisfaction.
Temperature Performance
As temperatures rise, HIT Power solar panels produce 10% or more electricity
(kWh) than conventional crystalline silicon solar panels at the same temperature.
Proprietary Technology
HIT solar cells are hybrids of single crystalline silicon surrounded by ultra-thin
amorphous silicon layers, and are available solely from SANYO. HIT Power models
are ideal for grid-connected solar systems, areas with performance based incentives,
and renewable energy credits.
Structural Strength
HIT Power panels have a double-wall black anodized aluminum frame for extra
strength, and are tested to 60PSF. The panels come pre-equipped with a touchsafe
junction box, USE-2 outdoor rated cables, MC4™ locking connectors, and
are UL 1703 safety rated for wind, hail, and fire.
Valuable Features
HIT Power solar panels operate silently, have no moving parts and are among the
lightest per watt in the industry. Unique eco-packaging minimizes cardboard waste
at the job site. The packing density of the panels reduces transportation, fuel, and
storage costs per installed watt.
Quality Products
SANYO silicon wafers located inside HIT solar panels are made in California USA,
and the panels are assembled in an ISO 9001 (quality), 14001 (environment), and
18001 (safety) certified factory. The panels have a Limited 20-Year Power Output
and 5-Year Product Workmanship Warranty
HIT Double

HIT® Double bifacial solar panels are World leaders in sunlight conversion efficiency, helping customers to enjoy the maximum power per square foot from available space.
Power Guarantee
SANYO guarantees customers will receive 100% of the panel’s rated power (or more) at the time of purchase, enabling owners to generate more kWh per rated watt.
Bifacial Effect
The back face of a HIT Double panel generates electricity from ambient light reflected off surrounding surfaces, and combines with power from the front face of the panel. Depending upon system design and site albedo, this results in up to 30% higher power generation (more kWh) per square foot.
Application Possibilities
Architectural, Awnings, Balconies, Bus Shelters, Walkway Covers, Deck & Porch Coverings, Canopies, Carports, Trellises, Fences, Facades, Siding, Trellises, Tracking Systems, BIPV, Ground Mount, Roof Mount, Skylights, and More!
Proprietary Technology
HIT bifacial solar cells are hybrids of single crystalline silicon surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers, available solely from SANYO.
High Temperature Performance
As temperatures rise, HIT Double solar panels produce more electricity than conventional solar panels at the same temperature, due to their low temperature coefficient.
Quality Products
SANYO silicon wafers are made in California USA, and assembled in Mexico at SANYO’s certified factory. ISO 9001 (quality), 14001 (environment), and 18001 (safety).
Valuable Features
HIT Double panels operate silently and have no moving parts. A double glass structure allows some sunlight to penetrate portions of the panel, creating brilliant light and shadows for aesthetic and architectural applications. HIT Double panels are perfect for areas with performance-based incentives and tradable energy credits.
ferrari motor bike

Well it seems like you can now get your hands on a Ferrari bike, ok a 1:12 scale model, damn those images they did fool me for a second. If Ferrari was to produce a superbike, it would look a little like this model. The original model was a Yamaha kit from Tamiya; however it has had a few modifications.
Let us hope that the guys at Maranello are looking and decide it is time to produce vehicles with two-wheels as well as their road cars.
There is no shortage of Italian built motorcycles, however there is just one Auto Company that we wish would produce a motorbike and that is Ferrari. Could you imagine if you had a superbike with a prancing horse on the front.

The new Mercedes Benz - Very different...
This is the new Mercedes B! enz SCL6 00
This car is really different
That's not what is different about it
.....and now for the 'really different' part
Nosteering wheel; you drive it with a joystick. No pedals either. Can you drive with a joystick? Your kids and grandkids probably can.
The influence of video games in our lives has really arrived!
World's costliest Commercial!! Must see....
It took 606 takes and re-takes to make this commercial and the total cost was $ 6.2 million for this 90 second commercial. You could probably make a movie for that kind of money!
Everything is real with no graphics used and still look at the precision. The team that made this commercial won many awards.

About voice and video chat
Since sometimes reading "lol" doesn't deliver the same punch as actually hearing your friend laugh at your jokes, you can now use voice and video capabilities in your Gmail chat. From within Gmail, you can have an actual conversation with someone (seriously, out loud), or even chat face to face over video.
Here's what you'll need to get started:
- Download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in, quit all open browser windows, and install the plug-in.
- Sign in to Gmail.
- In the Chat section of your Gmail, select the contact you want to call. If they have a camera icon next to their name, you can make a voice or video call to them; just click Video & more.
If your friend doesn't have a camera next to their name in your chat list, you can invite them to download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in from the Video & more menu in a chat window. Even if your friend doesn't have a video camera, you can still make a voice call or a 1-way video call.
